Online Car Finance

With the increase in the number of people who want to purchase a car through car financing, many car financing companies now go online to take advantage of the power of the Internet.

Over the years, car financing has changed a lot in order to cater to the people’s demand for a more convenient way of shopping for car financing options. And because of the Internet, online car financing is now widely available to those people in search for a variety of options.

Online car financing is very convenient. You can file your loan application over the Internet and shop around for a good deal from the comfort of your office or home. You do not have to visit your local car financing company because everything about car financing is already available to you online. You just have to email the company or contact their customer service representative for certain queries.

Aside from this, applying for online car financing is not as lengthy a process. What used to take hours can now take minutes because of modern technology. You can easily browse from site to site to compare car financing companies as well as their rates. You just have to read and understand the details about car financing included in the website so when you file your car financing application, you have a clear understanding of what you are getting into.

However, with the rise of scams on the Internet today, you have to be very cautious when selecting the online car financing company that you deal with to make sure you are not being taken advantage of. You should only deal with companies that publish their contact details on their website, including phone numbers, email addresses, the company’s address, and the name of the company head. You should find time to verify their office’s contact information in the phone directory or in the yellow or white pages. If the company is not listed, it could probably be a phony site.

Online car financing is indeed a more convenient way to shop for car financing options and compare car financing rates. Just take the time to do your research, as this will help you find the best deal for your car purchase.

Bad Credit Financing For You

Are you trying to determine what bad credit finance options that are available to you? You need a new automobile, but you are unsure of who will finance it due to your bad credit?

There is no need to be too concerned about financing if you have bad credit. There are several different financing methods that are available to most people, regardless of their credit history. The interest rates may be higher or they may require a larger down payment, but they may be just what you need to get financing for your purchase.

Financing a Car

If you need a new or used automobile, but you have bad credit, then your best source for financing will most likely be a finance company rather than a bank.

There are some companies that offer people with bad credit financing. The financing usually is dependent upon the vehicle chosen, where you buy the vehicle, and what insurance and driving records that you hold.

There are other things that the finance company will consider as well, including your income, cosignors that you can get for the loan, and any other references that you may be able to provide.

Financing a Home

Real estate financing is a little trickier to find if you have bad credit, but it is in some ways easier to finance due to the collateral being the home.

Some of the big considerations that are looked at when trying to get a mortgage loan with bad credit include income, home or real estate insurance that you have to purchase, how much your down payment is, and any references from past landlords that you may have.

You can find bad credit mortgage financing online, at some real estate companies, and at finance companies. You only have to be willing to look for them.

Other Kinds of Financing

If you need to find financing for other items, like electronics or collectible items, then you may find that this is more difficult.

The reason why it is more difficult to find financing for these smaller items is that they are much harder to repossess and to find buyers for them after they have been repossessed. These reasons make lenders more wary of financing people with bad credit. You may need to consider other ways to get the money to purchase these kinds of times if they are needed.

It may be possible to find a lender that will finance these items, even if you have bad credit. If you are rejected, however, you should ask them if they have some recommendations of where you might get financing.

Money for a Car: A Guide to Auto Financing

Nobody wants to be the dumb buyer in a car buying deal. You have to be smart or you end up losing more money than you ought to. It is a very common scheme among car buyers to first get money in order to buy a new car.

The term is called “auto financing” and it simply means how you pay for a vehicle. You can finance a car by taking out an auto loan to own a car, in which case, you have two options: You either use the money from the loan to buy the car, or use it for lease.

If this isn’t your first time buying a car, you might already know that the salesman or your car dealer will be checking your credit report before starting with the negotiations. But this is not the only way you can go to get that new car of yours. The seller will try to sweeten the deal and offer you special car finance situations in exchange for throwing yourself totally at his mercy. That is not a path you have to choose.

The key is preparation. Knowing what auto financing options you have before you get to the dealership will mean that you can take charge of your credit and take charge of your car loan.

Just remember, when you negotiate with the salesman for the most favorable auto loan, nothing is permanent until you have it in writing. So haggle and then haggle some more. Once negotiations seem to be over, that’s when the sales contract is prepared.

Inflated Interest Rates

To have the deal agreed upon by you and the salesman be put in writing in a binding contract is top on the list of the things you must do involving auto financing. Often involved at this part of the procedure is to determine monthly auto loan payments based on an interest rate. Now, as you well know, the interest rate varies from car buyer to car buyer. Your credit is only one of the factors and if the interest rate a car buyer qualifies for is inflated, then the dealership can make extra profit off your loan. That’s just one of the pitfalls in auto financing.

Independent Auto Financing

When you have the approved auto financing option on hand, you can then proceed with the deal as a “cash buyer” so to speak as you already have the cash in hand from the loan and you are just buying the car from the dealer with that money. Car salesmen prefer customers to be “monthly payment” buyers as this makes it easier for them to obscure the total cost of the vehicle, to the detriment of your savings. So wizen up and take that independent auto financing option available.

Set a Price Range

Having a budget is the sensible thing to do. If you set a sensible price range for yourself, then you have less reason to go beyond that range and succumb to the temptation of overspending. If you’re really firm on that budget, no amount of sales talk can sway you. One good tip is to ensure that your monthly car payments and related expenses do not exceed about 20% of your monthly net income.

Discounted Financing vs. Rebate

Here’s the dilemma to car buying: Many dealers offer an option between discounted financing or a rebate, but not both. Discounted financing means that you get zero-percent financing while rebate means that you get a certain amount of cash some time after purchase. The common error many car buyers make is that the zero-percent loan will deliver the most savings. But will it really?

Get the Cash Rebate

In most cases, it’s better to get the cash rebate and apply it against the purchase price of the vehicle. If you already have a pre-approved car loan, then that’s even better because you have positively no need of extra financing from your dealer. Just use your car loan to finance the car and let the rebate handle some of the charges.

You will have to choose how long you want your lease to be and how much you’re willing to pay upfront. The obvious choice, of course, would be to pay as little as possible, but be sure to weigh other options as well. After that, the car is yours for the period stipulated in the lease contract.

There are several other different plans those car buyers like you can adopt in order to make the most out of your money and reduce costs at the dealership. Understanding the credit process is just one way of being a smart buyer.

Get Financing Help For Your Texas Mobile Home

Everybody needs a home where one can feel secure and comfortable. However, with escalating prices, it may be difficult for some to buy a home. Nowadays, it’s definitely not that easy to afford your dream home. But with the help of great home financing schemes available in Texas, you can turn a Texan mobile home into your dream home.

An alternative to these expensive conventional homes which are constructed on the site, are mobile homes. These mobile homes are relatively cheaper and are much preferred in rural areas. As their name suggests, mobile homes can be moved to a different location.

Initially, mobile homes were considered ideally for people who always need to move to different places every now and then, such as the construction employees. However, because these mobile homes are less expensive that the traditional homes, more and more people are looking into getting themselves a mobile home instead. In Texas, you’ll probably find several mobile homes stationed in vacant lots, such as parks.

There’s one catch, though. As compared to traditional homes, you might find it a little harder to look for financial institutions which can help you finance your mobile home. However, you should still be able to find yourself a lending institution with a great mobile home financing deal that can work within your set budget.

In Texas, these mobile homes are quite popular, and thus, it shouldn’t be that difficult for you to obtain a mobile home financing. Texas is a relatively large state and there are a lot of residents who would prefer to just move from one place to another. Usually, these mobile homes can be placed in parks, or you can even lease a community lot.

Some financial institutions refuse to finance mobile homes, or if they do, they have some restrictions to the kind of mobile home that qualifies for financing. Usually, those mobile homes that have been constructed over twenty years ago may not qualify for financing. The same thing goes for altered mobile homes or those with some structural modifications. Obviously, the value of old properties has already largely depreciated, that’s why you’d find it difficult to look for financial institutions to finance old mobile homes. Also, since altered mobile homes could not be anymore compared to standard mobile homes, their value may have also decreased.

Most banks do not also offer mobile home financing. The rate of foreclosure for these mobile homes is set at a higher rate compared to the traditional homes. Mobile homes are considered to depreciate much more quickly, which makes it risky for banks to take these in as collateral. Also, if you manage to get financing for you mobile home, the financing term is usually less than the thirty-year home financing offered to traditional loans. In addition, the interest rates can be slightly higher. That’s what usually happens in states other than Texas.

In Texas, banks are not the only ones which offer home financing. In fact, you can find a lot of other financing companies. There are even a few which specializes in mobile home financing. These types of companies are usually located in places such as Texas, where mobile homes are popular. Most of the mobile home financing deals offered in Texas would only require you to pay as low as five percent down payment. However, if you want to take advantage of the lowest interest rate possible, you should consider paying up to twenty percent of the purchase price.

Like getting home financing for conventional homes, there are a few criteria that you need to qualify if you want to finance your mobile home. It is virtually important to have a good credit history. Usually, these financial institutions have their own minimum credit score. Of course, your income and employment history are also considered as major qualifications. Most financing institutions also have a minimum price and measurement requirement for your mobile home. Usually, they may not finance a home which costs less than $ 20 000 or measures less than 750 square feet only. But with the great home financing terms offered in Texas, then you shouldn’t worry about getting a larger and more expensive mobile home.

Each financing institution have their own specific requirements. It’s highly recommended to contact them first before making any comparisons or decisions. Besides, it’s difficult to give out a good estimate of how much you’ll be paying unless they go over your qualifications and conduct inspections on your desired mobile home. Searching for these financing institutions should not be too much hard work. You can just sit in front of your computer and do your research online. In Texas, a lot of varieties of these financial institutions exist. Mobile home financing has made fulfilling people’s dream of owning a home easier.

Shoe Repairs And Several Other Things When I Was 7

Shoe Repairs And Several Other Things When I Was 7
My Dad repaired most of our shoes believe it or not, I can hardly believe it myself now. With 7 pairs of shoes always needing repairs I think he was quite clever to learn how to “Keep us in shoe Leather” to coin a phrase!

He bought several different sizes of cast iron cobbler’s “lasts”. Last, the old English “Laest” meaning footprint. Lasts were holding devices shaped like a human foot. I have no idea where he would have bought the shoe leather. Only that it was a beautiful creamy, shiny colour and the smell was lovely.

But I do remember our shoes turned upside down on and fitted into these lasts, my Dad cutting the leather around the shape of the shoe, and then hammering nails, into the leather shape. Sometimes we’d feel one or 2 of those nails poking through the insides of our shoes, but our dad always fixed it.

Hiking and Swimming Galas
Dad was a very outdoorsy type, unlike my mother, who was probably too busy indoors. She also enjoyed the peace and quiet when he took us off for the day!

Anyway, he often took us hiking in the mountains where we’d have a picnic of sandwiches and flasks of tea. And more often than not we went by steam train.

We loved poking our heads out of the window until our eyes hurt like mad from a blast of soot blowing back from the engine. But sore, bloodshot eyes never dampened our enthusiasm.

Dad was an avid swimmer and water polo player, and he used to take us to swimming galas, as they were called back then. He often took part in these galas. And again we always travelled by steam train.

Rowing Over To Ireland’s Eye
That’s what we did back then, we had to go by rowboat, the only way to get to Ireland’s eye, which is 15 minutes from mainland Howth. From there we could see Malahide, Lambay Island and Howth Head of course. These days you can take a Round Trip Cruise on a small cruise ship!

But we thoroughly enjoyed rowing and once there we couldn’t wait to climb the rocks, and have a swim. We picnicked and watched the friendly seals doing their thing and showing off.

Not to mention all kinds of birdlife including the Puffin. The Martello Tower was also interesting but a bit dangerous to attempt entering. I’m getting lost in the past as I write, and have to drag myself back to the present.

Fun Outings with The camera Club
Dad was also a very keen amateur photographer, and was a member of a camera Club. There were many Sunday photography outings and along with us came other kids of the members of the club.

And we always had great fun while the adults busied themselves taking photos of everything and anything, it seemed to us. Dad was so serious about his photography that he set up a dark room where he developed and printed his photographs.

All black and white at the time. He and his camera club entered many of their favourites in exhibitions throughout Europe. I’m quite proud to say that many cups and medals were won by Dad. They have been shared amongst all his grandchildren which I find quite special.

He liked taking portraits of us kids too, mostly when we were in a state of untidiness, usually during play. Dad always preferred the natural look of messy hair and clothes in the photos of his children.

What Are The Greatest Changes In Shopping In Your Lifetime

What are the greatest changes in shopping in your lifetime? So asked my 9 year old grandson.

As I thought of the question the local Green Grocer came to mind. Because that is what the greatest change in shopping in my lifetime is.

That was the first place to start with the question of what are the greatest changes in shopping in your lifetime.

Our local green grocer was the most important change in shopping in my lifetime. Beside him was our butcher, a hairdresser and a chemist.

Looking back, we were well catered for as we had quite a few in our suburb. And yes, the greatest changes in shopping in my lifetime were with the small family owned businesses.

Entertainment While Shopping Has Changed
Buying butter was an entertainment in itself.
My sister and I often had to go to a favourite family grocer close by. We were always polite as we asked for a pound or two of butter and other small items.

Out came a big block of wet butter wrapped in grease-proof paper. Brought from the back of the shop, placed on a huge counter top and included two grooved pates.

That was a big change in our shopping in my lifetime… you don’t come across butter bashing nowadays.

Our old friendly Mr. Mahon with the moustache, would cut a square of butter. Lift it to another piece of greaseproof paper with his pates. On it went to the weighing scales, a bit sliced off or added here and there.

Our old grocer would then bash it with gusto, turning it over and over. Upside down and sideways it went, so that it had grooves from the pates, splashes going everywhere, including our faces.

My sister and I thought this was great fun and it always cracked us up. We loved it, as we loved Mahon’s, on the corner, our very favourite grocery shop.

Grocery Shopping
Further afield, we often had to go to another of my mother’s favourite, not so local, green grocer’s. Mr. McKessie, ( spelt phonetically) would take our list, gather the groceries and put them all in a big cardboard box.

And because we were good customers he always delivered them to our house free of charge. But he wasn’t nearly as much fun as old Mr. Mahon. Even so, he was a nice man.

All Things Fresh
So there were very many common services such as home deliveries like:

• Farm eggs

• Fresh vegetables

• Cow’s milk

• Freshly baked bread

• Coal for our open fires

Delivery Services
A man used to come to our house a couple of times a week with farm fresh eggs.

Another used to come every day with fresh vegetables, although my father loved growing his own.

Our milk, topped with beautiful cream, was delivered to our doorstep every single morning.

Unbelievably, come think of it now, our bread came to us in a huge van driven by our “bread-man” named Jerry who became a family friend.

My parents always invited Jerry and his wife to their parties, and there were many during the summer months. Kids and adults all thoroughly enjoyed these times. Alcohol was never included, my parents were teetotallers. Lemonade was a treat, with home made sandwiches and cakes.

The coal-man was another who delivered bags of coal for our open fires. I can still see his sooty face under his tweed cap but I can’t remember his name. We knew them all by name but most of them escape me now.

Mr. Higgins, a service man from the Hoover Company always came to our house to replace our old vacuum cleaner with an updated model.

Our insurance company even sent a man to collect the weekly premium.

People then only paid for their shopping with cash. This in itself has been a huge change in shopping in my lifetime.

In some department stores there was a system whereby the money from the cash registers was transported in a small cylinder on a moving wire track to the central office.

Some Of The Bigger Changes
Some of the bigger changes in shopping were the opening of supermarkets.

• Supermarkets replaced many individual smaller grocery shops. Cash and bank cheques have given way to credit and key cards.

• Internet shopping… the latest trend, but in many minds, doing more harm, to book shops.

• Not many written shopping lists, because mobile phones have taken over.

On a more optimistic note, I hear that book shops are popular again after a decline.

Personal Service Has Most Definitely Changed
So, no one really has to leave home, to purchase almost anything, technology makes it so easy to do online.
And we have a much bigger range of products now, to choose from, and credit cards have given us the greatest ease of payment.

We have longer shopping hours, and weekend shopping. But we have lost the personal service that we oldies had taken for granted and also appreciated.

Because of their frenetic lifestyles, I have heard people say they find shopping very stressful, that is grocery shopping. I’m sure it is when you have to dash home and cook dinner after a days work. I often think there has to be a better, less stressful way.

My mother had the best of both worlds, in the services she had at her disposal. With a full time job looking after 9 people, 7 children plus her and my dad, she was very lucky. Lucky too that she did not have 2 jobs.

What We Have Here Is A Failure To Communicate

The results of this past election proved once again that the Democrats had a golden opportunity to capitalize on the failings of the Trump Presidency but, fell short of a nation wide mandate. A mandate to seize the gauntlet of the progressive movement that Senator Sanders through down a little over four years ago. The opportunities were there from the very beginning even before this pandemic struck. In their failing to educate the public of the consequences of continued Congressional gridlock, conservatism, and what National Economic Reform’s Ten Articles of Confederation would do led to the results that are playing out today.. More Congressional gridlock, more conservatism and more suffering of millions of Americans are the direct consequences of the Democrats failure to communicate and educate the public. Educate the public that a progressive agenda is necessary to pull the United States out of this Pandemic, and restore this nations health and vitality.

It was the DNC’s intent in this election to only focus on the Trump Administration. They failed to grasp the urgency of the times. They also failed to communicate with the public about the dire conditions millions have been and still are facing even before the Pandemic. The billions of dollars funneled into campaign coffers should have been used to educate the voting public that creating a unified coalition would bring sweeping reforms that are so desperately needed. The reality of what transpired in a year and a half of political campaigning those billions of dollars only created more animosity and division polarizing one extreme over another.

One can remember back in 1992 Ross Perot used his own funds to go on national TV to educate the public on the dire ramifications of not addressing our national debt. That same approach should have been used during this election cycle. By using the medium of television to communicate and educate the public is the most effective way in communicating and educating the public. Had the Biden campaign and the DNC used their resources in this way the results we ae seeing today would have not created the potential for more gridlock in our government. The opportunity was there to educate the public of safety protocols during the siege of this pandemic and how National Economic Reform’s Ten Articles of Confederation provides the necessary progressive reforms that will propel the United States out of the abyss of debt and restore our economy. Restoring our economy so that every American will have the means and the availability of financial and economic security.

The failure of the Democratic party since 2016 has been recruiting a Presidential Candidate who many felt was questionable and more conservative signals that the results of today has not met with the desired results the Democratic party wanted. Then again? By not fully communicating and not educating the public on the merits of a unified progressive platform has left the United States transfixed in our greatest divides since the Civil War. This writers support of Senator Bernie Sanders is well documented. Since 2015 he has laid the groundwork for progressive reforms. He also has the foundations on which these reforms can deliver the goods as they say. But, what did the DNC do, they purposely went out of their way to engineer a candidate who was more in tune with the status-quo of the DNC. They failed to communicate to the public in educating all of us on the ways our lives would be better served with a progressive agenda that was the benchmark of Senators Sanders Presidential campaign and his Our Revolution movement. And this is way there is still really no progress in creating a less toxic environment in Washington and around the country.
